Save the date for Senior Resource Fair

The Morrison Communities and Weeks Medical Center are collaborating to host a Senior Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, October 3, at the new Summit by Morrison in Whitefield.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for seniors and their families to participate in an array of free health screenings, learn about programs and services throughout the region that are available to them, and leave with a variety of information that can make a difference in their or a loved one’s life,” said Shannon Lynch, Summit’s Executive Director.

Some of the vendors include Comfort Keepers, AHEAD, Inc, Granite State Independent Living, North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency, OAKS and Embark Organizing. Attendees can take advantage of opportunities including free health screenings by Weeks Medical Center, Morrison Communities and others, or enjoy a sample chair massage provided by massage therapist or participate or watch a Tai-Chi Class to name a few.

Space is limited so participation is on a first come first serve basis. Vendors who are interested in participating can contact Katy Curnyn, Summit’s Marketing Director, at katy.curnyn@summitbymorrison or (603) 837-3516.

Summit’s dietary staff will provide refreshments for both attendees and vendors. Tours of the facility will be available throughout the morning.

While the Senior Resource Fair is focused on resources of interest to seniors and their families, all community members are invited to attend.

Summit by Morrison is located at 56 Summit Drive in Whitefield.
